📕 This course delves into the profound scholarship of Sharḥ Maʿānī al-Āthār by Imām Abū Jaʿfar al-Ṭaḥāwī (d. 321 AH). Students will explore how this monumental work addresses the ikhtilāf of the mujtahidūn and the evidences upon which their ijtihād was founded. Through careful study, participants will gain practical insights into the authentication, reconciliation, and application of aḥādīth in classical fiqh.
📚 We will:
• Explore the framework through which classical scholars approached conflicting aḥādīth.
• Analyse the principles of reconciliation and their practical applications in fiqh.
• Examine discussions on ṭuruq al-ḥadīth, rijāl, and the principles of nāsikh and mansūkh.
• Gain insight into the diverse legal perspectives of the mujtahidūn and their evidences.
